U3A (University of the Third Age) is a worldwide self-help organisation promoting learning for personal enjoyment and satisfaction.

The Third Age is the age of active retirement, coming after the age of youth and work and home making. University is a loose term – there are no academic requirements for membership, no awards, and no exams!

U3A Brisbane offers more than 250 courses each year, at low cost or free of charge. Some are held in the City classrooms, and District Groups conduct classes all over Greater Brisbane and in the Logan District.
